This blog isn't a blog simply about my life, or about what's been on my mind lately.Rather, this will be a collection of my thoughts on literacy and of some of the memories and stories I have about literacy.
It is also a call to action for those who would like to see literacy done. My wife and I will be working in Papua New Guinea with Pioneer Bible Translators (PBT). We are a faith based mission whose purpose is to see the Word of God transforming lives in every language. As part of PBT, my wife and I find those willing to support us in our mission, through finances and through prayer.
As you read through this blog, my hope is that you will come to see the importance of coupling missions, such as Bible Translation, with developmental work, such as Literacy, and that you would become part of the team of supporters who will send us there.
